Merv's latest car
Was parked in the space now occupied by this red car, on the night it was stolen.
The stolen Vauxhall Nova 1.0 merit with full Novadose body kit had been customised by the boy who had it before merv. Mervin had paid £350 for the car only two weeks earlier and had taken out a £1500 loan to finace the audio and secuity devices installed by Merv himself. The car had been driven by merv on only two occasions, the jouneys to and from the local M.O.T station. Merv was waiting until his bithday when he hoped to receive enough money to pay for the welding and structual realignment required for the car to pass. Merv was a bit annoyed with himself for not paying the extra £10 inurance money for fire and theft, but cheared himself up a little when he found out that his insurance was invaid anyway due to the vehicle not having a current M.O.T. Police officers dealing with the case belive that car was stollen by local youths.
Mervin is due to appear before Brighton magistrates court on charges of paking a vehicle without a current M.O.T. or inurance on a public higway.
This was going to be a photograph of Merv's actual car. Unfortunately the police had it removed before we could get down to the park and take the picture. You should be able to get a bit of an idea of what the car would have looked likefrom the shape of the burn marks.
